The Cute Card Thursda challenge this week was 'In the Water'. I spent ages wondering what stamps I had for this one, then I decided to actually go rummage through my stamp box and thats when I remembered Nessie!!
So here's my card:
For this card I used: Funstamps Nessie stamp, Impress inkpad, Pro Markers, white gel pen, Papermania adhesive gems, cuttlebug swiss dots card, blue bazzill basics paper on a white card blank.

Stamp Something Challenge
I like the Stamp Something challenge this week - its quite broad 'Birthday Somethings' but it gave me the chance to use another Whipper Snapper stamp (god I love them!) that I hadn't managed to use yet.
So here he is, 'Birthday Beagle' :
I find with the Whipper Snapper stamps that on the whole they are quite large and so I find it works best to keep the card simple.
I coloured Birthday Beagle with Pro Markers, gel pen and glaze pen. Hes matted onto purple vellum. Then onto cuttlebug embossed card onto a purple card blank. The sentiment is from my stash.

Cute Card Thursday
Another fab challenge from Cute Card Thursday, this week is bright colours. Fab cards from all the DT as usual.
This is mine:
Isn't he gorgeous?! My little angel is a Whipper Snapper stamp coloured with Pro Markers - I liked the idea of quite a poignant message with a bright and cheerful coloured image. Matted and layered on bazzill basics card stock. Its quite a simple card but I think the little angel boy has to take centre stage!!

Sketch Saturday Challenge
Over at Sketch Saturday this week you will find another fab sketch:
Jo is also asking this week for people to apply to join her Design Team. To do this you have to make two projects using her sketch, one of which must be a Christmas theme. I ended up making three cards using this sketch (and I'm sure I'll end up using it again soon!) but here are the two for my entry to the DT call:
For Tilda I used: Tilda stamp, Pro Markers, gel pen and glaze pen, paper from a stack by QVC, cuttlebug swiss dots card, light blue card from my stash, adhesive gem stones and a 'yummy birthday' rub on from DoCrafts.
For Rodney the Reindeer: Whipper Snapper stamp, Pro Markers, gel pen and glaze pen, black and red card, paper from a Dovecraft 'Tis the Season' paper pack, Happy Christmas peel off and adhesive gems.

Friendship Image Swap
Took part in my first friendship image swap on Trimcraft this week. My swap partner let me know today that she received it so I know its safe to post!
Here's the card I sent to my swap partner:
I'm not sure why the pics all have a bluey tinge...! Anyway its red cardstock, scored and folded using my fab Wonderboard! Image is Sugar Nellie, kindly sent to me a buddy on Trimcraft. The paisley is cut from a K&Co sparkly sweet paper. I then stuck gems on to the pattern. The sentiment is Dymo.

More Pro Marker fun!
Well I have to say I LOVE MY PRO MARKERS!I'm just about to order some more from Silly Monkey Crafts (who have 10% of everything right thru Bank Holiday Weekend by the way!) because I just cannot get enough of them. I think I might ask for the whole set of 92 for Christmas...!
So anyway I've been using my PMs at every opportunity so here's some cards I made last night using my beautifully coloured images (if I do say so myself, lol)
The top one is a Hamish stamp from Sugar Nellie, with cuttlebug embossed card and a printed sentiment. (I've just noticed Hamish isn't stuck down properly, off in a sec to fix that!)
The middle one is a Whipper Snapper stamp 'Best Friends' and a 'Hugs n Kisses' stamp, cuttlebug embossed card and gems from my stash.
The bottom one is an Elzybells stamp (can you see the shiny glaze I put on ducky??! I love this stamp, its soooo adorable!), blue card stock, glitter card from DCWV, Dymo sentiment and gems from stash.
Also wanted to say thanks to all the visitors to my blog and those of you who comment - I'm trying to find the time now to visit all your blogs and check out your fab creations!!

Tilda is coloured with ProMarkers, gel pen and Sakura glaze. The sentiment is Dymo. The card is from my stash and theres some white Cuttlebug embossed 'snowflake' card. The gems are also from my stash.

The challenges are - Cute Card Thursday 'soft furnishings', Stamp Something 'all about summer' and Penny Black 'ribbons.
The image is Penny Black, stamped and watercoloured. The sentiment is a High Hopes stamp, coloured with ProMarkers and matted and layered. I used cuttlebug embossed card as a background. The ribbons are Anitas sticky ribbons.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge
This week at SFSC, the challenge was to create a card with a secret message. Here's my attempt:
Not my most creative effort. Must admit I struggled with this one. I used Luca and Nellie images kindly sent to me by Dee at Trimcraft (I do stamp my own images too honest!!), coloured with watercolour pencils and a sakura clear glaze pen. Held in place with silver heart brads. The paper and ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment is a penny black stamp. I went over the words 'great big' with my sakura glaze pen but it hasn't shown up well in the pic.

Cute Card Thursday
This week's challenge was 'The two of us'
This is mine:
It was a bit of a 'last minute make' and I'm not 100% happy with it. Still, I do love the stamped images - kindly sent to me by the lovely Christine over at Trimcraft. Might have to get me some of those stamps.....
To make this card I used: Max and Milly stamped images from Spiral Whispers, background paper from a Dovecraft pack, glitter card from the DCWV glitter pad, handmade paper from my stash and a sentiment from my stash.

Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers 23
I recently joined the sisterhood, find them here: http://sisterhoodofthebloggingstampers.blogspot.com/
I wanted to make some new 'crafty' friends and I think it will be a fab way to do this!
Well this is my 'getting to know me' post.
My name is Toni. I'm 22. I've been making cards for about 4 months now. I started because I wanted to practice for making my wedding invitations (which is September next year by the way!!) and now I'm hooked. I love stamps - especially the Magnolia Tilda and Edwin range and also just starting to get a few Penny Blacks and Sugar Nellie's too. Hoping to branch out into scrapbooking soon.
I work as a Trainee Legal Executive for a local family law firm. I also study law in my spare time.
I have a three year old son, who is my pride and joy. I also have a wonderful fiance who I love dearly.
Thats just about it I think! Looking forward to getting to know the rest of my group!

Son's Birthday
My son was three at the weekend, I wanted to make him a waterfall card but had no idea how to! Two days after I made the card below, lo and behold my Quick Cards subscription turned up with a tutorial on waterfall cards.... So should be making one of those soon.
Here's what I made instead:
He loved it - hes a big racing car fan.
The number and car are from Dovecraft 12 x 12 paper pads - I forget the name. The background is from a DCWV glitter pad, the name is K&Co black glitter alphabet stickers and the sentiment is from my stash.

I used Party Tilda, coloured with watercolour pencils, 2 different sorts of K&Co paper from the Sparkly Sweet pad, an Anitas sticky ribbon and a heart brad and sentiment from my stash.
Thanks for looking!
