Something a little different

Usually I use either a stamped image, a sticker or a decoupage image but these are a little different. The first and third I've used backing paper with an image on it. The second I've used a beautiful butterfly punch, which creates a 3D effect. Finally on the last one I used my scrabble letter stamps to create the word 'Scrabulous'.

Stickers

Stickers are a great alternative to stamping and colouring an image when you haven't got the time to spare. I really like the Penny Black stickeroos and tend to use those more than any other brand. Here's a few:

I do love stripy paper. Particularly in pretty pastel girly colours! Here are some favourites:

Some decoupage

I don't often use decoupage but I like the effect you can create with it and there are some really lovely kits out there. So I thought I'd show a few cards I've made using decoupage.

Random Ones

A few more. As you can see I'm simplified my style a lot and I think this definitely works best for me.

Colouring Fun

The top one is pencils and the other two are promarkers but nonetheless I really enjoyed  colouring all of these images and I'm so so pleased with how they turned out.

Christmas Cards

I know I'm a bit late on the Christmas cards but these were done in time for Christmas, I just didn't get round to posting them!

When I start doing a weekly update, I'll make notes on what I used to make the card but some of these ones were done ages ago and I can't remember exactly what was used!

A long blogging break!

Well I realised its been over a year since I last posted!
My last three posts (if you include this one) span two years!!

I'm making a promise now that I'll keep posting regularly. I usually do a batch of cards once a month so I'll endeavour to post those over the course of a month.

Anyway I've got lots from the last year to show so I'll start with those!
